So I'm going to be making Rupees and gen 1 Pokémon gym badges in Sculpey so I can mold and cast them en masse. This Rupee looked p. bad before I sanded it down, but I wasn't going for perfect geometry when I sculpted it anyway. That's what sandpaper is for!
but ya. I'm gonna' mold this in some plaster of paris, then cast another half, stick it on the back, then mold the whole thing. I'll make them in Twilight Princess (this one), Skyward Sword, Ocarina of Time (Silver Rupee style), and OoX styles. I will also make Force Gems. I sculpted all of those that night. This one's the only one that didn't get botched, probably because it was my second time trying this one. I'll be using dyed polyester resin for the casts, which is perfect because it's used in fake transparent jewelry. I'll sell them for .75/1.00 each in amounts less than 30, and .50 each if it's more than 30. I'm making them in all the possible Rupee colors, (if I can get ahold of shades of black) but their prices will all be the same, probably. I'll also make Rupee jewelry, which will have less Rupees, but obviously be more expensive; nothing past 5/10 dollars. I think it'll be pretty cool.
I'm also thinking of/going to be making Rupoors, which are black Rupees that drain your Rupee amount in recent Zelda games. To get one, you have to buy an equal value regular Rupee, then trade it redundantly for the Rupoor. :3 I'm so troll.
